For fall 2012, Christopher Bailey continued to focus on updating Burberry’s outerwear while adding some interesting details to his separates as well. The outerwear consisted of jackets and coats that were tweed, quilted, metallic, structured with volume at the hip, and belted with bow belts. The separates ranged from t-shirts printed with owls, skirts with oversized pockets or peplums at the hip, fringed and floral dresses, and pencil skirts with a zig-zagging ruffle down the front all paired together for a playful yet tailored look. .
